Radheshyam Bishnoi, a passionate 28-year-old wildlife conservationist from the Bishnoi community, tragically lost his life on May 24, 2023. He died in a road accident while en route to prevent deer poaching in the Thar Desert. Three other conservationists also lost their lives in this devastating accident.
Throughout his short but impactful life, Radheshyam dedicated himself to protecting endangered species, particularly the critically endangered Great Indian Bustard. He built water reservoirs for wildlife, rescued injured animals, and tirelessly fought against poaching in the desert region.
